Time and time again, clients would tell me horror stories about their dating experiences. A couple of female clients were date raped. A couple of my male clients had their wallets stolen, or found their credit cards had been maxed out. I’ve heard dozens and dozens of stories of people lying on dates about their age, their marital status, their appearance, employment status or income status. Many people lying about their substance use. For instance, saying they don’t drink much and then it turns out they’re an alcoholic and have multiple DWI’s. But the absolute worst are people who don’t disclose their criminal history. I’m not talking speeding tickets, I’m talking the predators out there. Most dating sites are full of them. But it doesn’t stop there…. You just never know who you are talking to on other sites because there is no accountability.”
